I’m the founder and CEO of Vilo, where I lead the company across hardware, software, and design—by which I mean the whole thing: the object, the interface, the packaging, the words, and all the details people are not supposed to notice, except somehow always do.

I built Vilo around a simple belief: wearables should not feel like dashboards. They should feel like support—quiet, intelligent, and close to the body in the way all good things eventually are.

At Vilo, I lead the core AI experience and work with clinical partners and researchers to shape health guidance that is rigorous, responsible, and human. Precision matters. So does restraint. Especially in technology, where both are occasionally unfashionable.

Before Vilo, I founded Vesta Sleep, where I now serve as Chairman. As CEO, I helped grow the company from zero to a $150 million global business in five years. Vesta came out of my fascination with textiles, touch, and sustainable materials—from bamboo and seaweed to eucalyptus fiber and silk—and a somewhat obsessive belief that better materials can make daily life feel meaningfully better.

Earlier in my career, I was a core member of Vincross Robotics, helping bring the HEXA series and Mindkit to life—products that were ahead of their time and helped spark the imagination of a generation of makers, developers, and robotics enthusiasts.

I started my career at McKinsey & Company, then left for a life of building products, making decisions, and worrying about real objects instead of hypothetical ones.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
